Kridthuset er ikke specielt charmerende, men der er alt hvad man har brug... read more for, og værelse/ badeværelse er nyindrettet og rent. Der er gode senge , gratis kaffe/the og endda køkkenfaciliteter. Men vi spiste på kroen, og den er til gengæld charmerende. Aftenmenuen var dansk og dejlig, udsigten fås ikke bedre og stemningen dejlig uhøjtidelig.

The food was excellent – I had a 3-course meal with wine accompaniment, and all the dishes were thoughtful, finely tasted and very nicely arranged. Especially the main course (fish with seasonal vegetables) was at a high level. The wine accompaniment was also a good fit.

What I liked less was the price. For two people with menu, wine, water and aperitif we were quickly over 1,800 DKK. Even water is charged separately (35 DKK per person), which I find a bit excessive in this price range. For me, that diminishes the bigger picture a little.

Conclusion: If you want to treat yourself to something special and pay attention to quality, this is the right place. The food is really good – but you should be aware of the price beforehand. That’s why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

The wine list was VG and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the french Pinot Noir.

Receptionen , øvrige personale var hurtige til at fornemme vores form for humor , og det var medvirkende til en ekstra oplevelse for os . Vi kommer gerne igen .
